I posted about the hang drun sometime ago, I want one very badly but sourcing one requires quite an expensive adventure

its true cause i posted there too.. it's still within my mission to get one..... i was just speaking of the hang not the other day. the hang is the most awesome sounding instrument... once i get mine it will be buried with me haha.... you readin my mind again uriah?

There is a good chance that I will pop to Switzerland in 08' to pick up a hang drum, if I do, and if anyone else wants one; and if the makers will let me walk away with more than one, I will happily do a 'hang drum run' for those who want one. Then I can ship them over to the US/Canada to whoever wants them. It was my plan to go this year (08') if I couldn't find one locally. Frankly the idea of travelling to Switzerland to find and procure rare and unique musical treasures almost causes me to reach for my whip and hat again.......

Yes I'm serious, I'll pick you one up and send it to you if all the necessary prerequisites fit into place first,I.e that I can get them, that I can get more one, that you can afford one, etc,etc....

I'd then ask you only to cover the cost of the drum and the delivery costs to get it to you,............no charge for me going to Switzerland, that'd be my gig :0)

I have to do some homework first, contact the makers and arrange a sale and all that jazz........after Christmas I will do a Hannibal and get a plan together. I'll let you know, fear not :0)

man that's soo dope... i gotta couple g's comin' to me in retirement fundz apparently, the soonest i can casher out is feb28th. if nothng major happens [and i get enough] it is then i will have the funds. man that instrument would change me.. it's callin for me no doubt... i can get into some sirius meditative states using rhythm and that thing would be like an ultimate mediatation machine.... and soo soo sweet.... you da man for even offerin, my heeeero! if you can't by any given circumstances hook me one up, cheers for even trying.

Your lucky I have asked a friend to join me on my proposed mission, by the looks of it we may be needing a donkey too :0)


Like I say, If I can get multiple hang drums, if I can afford it and you lot too, if I am allowed to walk away with several of them, if the makers are feeling friendly - They are said to be very sensitive- then all is good. It would likely be in a few months - see my old post Caren put up, production and experimentation goes on over winter with sales taking place from Aptil.

indy i'm so glad you have made such a mission of the hang... your timeline synchs up with mine... hopefully all the other factors will work out too. the hang is a masterpiece indeed and deserves respect, it and it's makers. i understand if it can't happen... one day i'll just have to make an even grander adventure out of getting one..

...so here's some positive vibes... i'm sendin' the message out to the universe for all us hang fans... let's see if she responds
