11:11 is nothing more than...

I posted this once and here I post it again.

I have been thinking about the ?theories? and explanation given about 11:11. So this is what I have concluded so far and the new questions that remains.


I have two types of ?explanations?. The first one, scientific. I think 11:11 is just a symmetrical symbol. Four ones together that calls our attention because of its symmetry and simplicity. The reason of why we always look at the exact time of that specific hour is related to our brain and how it subconsciously counts hours. Our internal clock always knows unconsciously the hour. That is why sometimes you need to wake up at a certain hour and you just awake some minutes before that time. Why sleeping you still have your internal clock awake. So, our brain, ?who knows the hour? have synchronize with this number that we like. Unconsciously you look at the clock at the exact moment of 11:11 because at brain level you know it is 11:11.

The other non clock related syncronicities (like car licenses plates, invoices, tv game scores, etc) can be also explain by that. Since we attributed a meaning to this number it call our attention when we see an 11 or 1111 or 111 or other related numbers. But if you really count the millions of number you see on a single day, and calculated it, you will see that there?s more numbers that more frequently you see than 11. But, since we like 11 we always attributed a coincidence when we see it. But think of all the quantities of 4, 3, 6, 7 that you saw and attributed not meaning at all.


So, I think we just love this number because naturally (as in Gestalt theory) humans tent to complete the forms and tents to the ?better form possible?. And there?s not a more simple and perfect form than 11:11, which is totally symmetrical.


The question this arises is, why this number? If you think about it , there are other symmetrical and perfect forms, older that 11:11 and more usual to us. Like squares, circles, etc. So why don?t we have attributed so a significant meaning to other daily form that are symmetrical and simple in nature? I don?t know. What I think is that 11:11 is rare. It is a digital symbol that is easily recognized and is almost new. So different to other forms that it looks like as if it is something new, that came out of the blue, that is telling something. But 11:11 has always been around. I guess you don?t remember seeing 11:11 at a traditional clock (as the one in my avatar) before seeing 11:11 in a digital form, and actually thinking it means something? So I think it is definitely related to the form of the four ones together and how our brains process it.


In the other hand I think it can also mean something metaphysical. I think in this category the Mayans have the answer. But again, I don?t know. And accepting this means a lot of other question as: Who is sending it? It is good or evil? Why is sending it? Why is so important? Etc.

What I find fascinating is that, scientific, spiritual or metaphysical explanation, we really have made of 11:11 a fantastic symbol. So powerful that it have forums, it have spread, it include people from all countries and races, we fight and discuss over it, we feel over it, etc. And that does tell a lot about us. First, it tells me that maybe we as humans are needed of a symbol that joints us as a group; we are needed of something with a new meaning. But it also talks a lot about perception. If I going to explain it scientifically I will look why the perception of certain people are tending toward this number and what characteristic does it have that created a ?shock? about ?Hey that numbers is telling something? What I mean is, what is about this number that made our brain change and in some way synchronized with it causing so many coincidences?


So, I guess I have more question than answers but I really will love to know. Especially when I have been observing all the figures and other numbers that can produce the same effect and they don?t. In the other hand there?s the auto fulfill prophecy. For example, I related 10:10 to difficult situations, but maybe I?m creating my own prophecy so that when I see 10:10 the most minimal thing can turn in a ?difficult situation?, even a red light broken in the road.

So, this is what I think about 11:11 until now?? Just my opinion?.

I would just like to know who I can blame for this. I'm sure I did not find this web site before I started seeing 11's all the time. I just wanted to find out why and come to find ou I'm not the only 1. Just for your info. I also went in to chat at 11:11 but I'm sure I had it planned that way?

hehe answerin skeptics, my favourite.
firstly 1111 is not supposed to be seen as a number. i think (and ill put the link below so someone else who can word it better for me can explain it fully shortly) that its two pillars and whats beyond it thats the important bit.

DJE touched on something as well. people have been seein this for longer than this site and others came along and i think there are too many people with it to discard it as coincidence or madness.

also i have looked at an analogue clock at 11:11. strayin slightly, you cant just dismiss the mind boggling amount of 42s ive seen and in the places ive seen them in.

lastly i asked me higher self on 11:11 and he/she/it simply said:
be your own chosen one (or it thought that message, but thats a complicated matter)
