Why not post a new section (above 11:11 or immediately below) that says "Newcomers" or "Introductions"?

I think lurkers may feel intimidated jumping into the mix in the main 11:11 section. Might be a good way of getting new folks to post at least once.

that's a good idea...we used to have a sticky in the 11:11 forum for new people...i should dig it up and at least do that.
